The Mayor's Thames Festival -
13th and 14th of September
2008

Fresh from the success of the first ever World Freerun Championships
staged in London on the 3rd of September and sponsored by Barclaycard, we
had little time to collect our thoughts afterwards, as we had the Mayor's
Thames Festival to prepare for. Initial discussions about the festival were
simply an aside to the championships and in our minds we expected little
more than a bouncy castle and a few free drinks of orange squash. How wrong
we were! With months of planning and countless meetings to make this happen,
it turned into being something relatively ambitious to being an absolute
beast. The finished result saw us taking centre stage on Jubilee Gardens
right in front of the London Eye and having the most amazing structure to
play with. Over the course of the 2 day event, we had an absolute blast and
have taken things to a totally new level. What follows is a behind the
scenes report to fill the gap until Bam edits the video footage.....
