Please
note that each and every technique/combination below has been executed by
professional athletes with vast experience, and is intended to be
here as an example of some of the moves associated with Parkour/Freerun
as opposed to being an actual 'tutorial'. Beginners and less experienced people
wishing to get into Parkour or Freerun, are advised to start off at
low level and to work hard drilling the fundamentals, before ever doing anything
remotely ambitious. If at all possible, seek out an
academy to learn
from professionals. If this isn't possible, try to arrange training
with experienced practitioners in your area. Many of whom can be
found here on our message boards. Where flips are concerned, we
recommend that tuition from professional gymnastics coaches
(conducted in a safe and controlled training environment) is
undertaken before ever attempting to do outside. Urban Freeflow
accepts no responsibility for anyone trying to emulate anything
seen in the footage available here. Train hard but always train
safely.
Parkour = Efficient movement over any given area.
Freerun = The same fundamental movements as Parkour but with the emphasis being on aesthetics, fun
and creativity.
